Meakin Building Supplies is a family owned and family run business based in Berkshire.

The company has been trading as a Builders Merchant since 1980, and has grown from humble beginnings to become a major supplier of building materials in the Reading, Maidenhead, Basingstoke and Guildford areas.

The company has about 40 employees, consisting mainly of either friends or the family.

We currently have four sites based in Reading, Maidenhead, Basingstoke and Guildford. Reading being our main branch and headquarters.

We pride ourselves on our competitiveness, quality and speed of servicem with few other merchants able to match our overall service.

Between the four branches we currently have a fleet of 19 vehicles, enabling us to provide a fast local delivery service to each area!
